About Me

Hi,

My name is Sherri.  I am trying to figure out this whole blog world.  I'm really not sure what to write and talk about, so sometimes it is just random.  I know after I read other blogs that I will find what works for me.  Be patient and please follow me and make comments.  I would love to hear what you have to say.

Now about me.

I am a wife to a really wonderful man.  We have been together for the last 15 years, but just got married this past July.  I guess it took him awhile to figure out if I was the one. LOL!  We have a 14 year old daughter together and live in a town close to Daytona Beach, Florida.  We literally live 5 minutes from the beach, and can count on 1 hand how many times we have been to the beach this past summer.  Shocker! I know.

I work a full time job in retail from 5am -2pm.  My husband works in a restaurant from 4pm- 11pm.  We don't get to see each other very often except for his days off.  This is probably why we have gotten along so well this many years. LOL!  When I get home from work, my time is spent on my 2nd job.  I run an Etsy shop making jewelry and ribbon hair barrettes.  I do lots of other crafts too like making wreaths, but haven't decided yet how to ship them if I was to sell them.

I love sports if you couldn't tell by my blog so far.  I grew up in Louisiana, so that is why LSU is my favorite college football team.  Louisiana lives and breaths LSU and there is nothing like it anywhere else.  Their spirit for their team is awesome.

I am also into NASCAR very much.  Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver and has been since he came into the #24 car.  I literally live about 10 minutes away from the Daytona International Speedway.  The races come to town twice a year and you know I will be there every minute enjoying it.

Now that you know some things about me, I would love to find things out about you.  Please follow me on my blog and I promise I really won't try to bore you.  I will post items from my Etsy shop, talk about how to organize your space, sports, and maybe even some really good recipes.

Thanks,
Sherri
